What’s included in an Essential Solution?
An Essential Solution is an ongoing solution to help you solve your most pressing pain point or opportunity. Every year, as your pain points or opportunities evolve, we will customize your Essential Solution to meet your needs. Included in your Essential Solution is:
- Essential Solution Workshop (20 minutes) to identify your focus area and start building your Essential Solution - recommended
- Design Session (1 hour) with your Business Coach to customize your Essential Solution - required
- Coaching Track (6 hours) guided by your Business Coach to take your critical employees through structured and action focused Coaching Sessions - required
- Community Drop Ins (unlimited) to help your employees keep moving forward with ongoing access to live, on demand Group Coaching - recommended
What is Group Coaching?
Group Coaching is a unique opportunity for employees to focus on their personal and professional growth by learning on their own, learning from their peers, and learning from a Business Coach in a safe and trusted space. Unlike traditional training where participants retain ~10% of what they learn, Group Coaching utilizes tools and techniques used with executives to shift thinking and drive success.
What is a Design Session and how do I schedule it?
A Design Session is a 1 hour session, where you and your Business Coach will review your completed Essential Solution Toolkit. This will give you an opportunity to dive deeper into your focus area to customize each Group Coaching Session to meet your employees’ specific challenges. HumanQ will send you an introduction email, introducing you to your Business Coach, in which there will be a link that you will use to schedule your Design Session. Once you’ve had your Design Session, you will use the same link to schedule your Coaching Track with your Business Coach.
What is a Coaching Track?
A Coaching Track consists of up to 6 employees in an intimate group, for 6 Coaching Sessions (1 hour long) over 6 weeks that stay together with their Business Coach throughout the Coaching Track. Each Group Coaching session of the Coaching Track will explore a specific topic that builds on a broader theme tied to your organization’s pain point or opportunity.
What are Community Drop Ins?
Community Drop Ins are 1 hour Coaching Sessions with up to 6 people, focused on hot topics to help you enhance your leadership skills, build your network, and achieve your goals. Attendees include other like-minded leaders from different companies, industries and functions across the HumanQ community.
Do I have to attend an Essential Solution Workshop?
We strongly encourage you to attend an Essential Solution Workshop. If you still choose not to attend, we will match you with your Business Coach within 2 business days after payment is received.
What happens in an Essential Solution Workshop?
During the Essential Solution Workshop, in addition to the agenda below, we will walk through in detail what is required of you to make sure you get the most value out of your Essential Solution, and what you can expect each step of the way. Additionally, we will help you identify your focus area, which will be a pain point or an opportunity.

How do you customize the Essential Solution to my needs?
Your Essential Solution will be customized based on your pain point or opportunity in partnership with your HumanQ Business Coach. You will set up a 1 hour Design Session with your Business Coach where you will review your completed Essential Solution Toolkit. You and your Business Coach will then dive deeper into each individual Coaching Session to identify the key challenges and objectives to customize each session to your specific needs.
How does my Essential Solution evolve each year?
At the beginning of your subscription year, we will reach out to you to begin the process of building your new Essential Solution. You will have an opportunity to stack rank priorities, select your area of focus, identify new critical employees and business metrics that align to the pain point or opportunity that you would like to solve through this new year’s Essential Solution
What criteria will you use to match me to a Business Coach?
We take Business Coach matching very seriously and we are proud to share that we have maintained a 100% Business Coach efficacy to date, where we have never been asked to replace a Business Coach once they have been matched. When matching you to the right Business Coach , we take into consideration a number of different criteria including industry experience and know how, cultural fit, and any other business requirements. Once we have identified the best Business Coach for you based on these different criteria, we will make an introduction via email.
What if I want to do more than one Coaching Track?
Your Essential Solution includes one Coaching Track, but if you would like to add additional Coaching Tracks, please reach out to HumanQ (hello@humanq.com) and we will work with you to build out your Essential Solution.
Can I change the employees who go through the Essential Solution annually?
Yes, every year when you design a new Essential Solution you can select a new group of employees to participant in the Essential Solution. It is only once you start the Coaching Track as part of your Essential Solution that you cannot change the group of employees.
How are my employees grouped together into groups of up to 6 for the Coaching Track?
If you have more than 6 employees participating in your Essential Solution, you will be able to create groups of up to 6, in a way that works best for your needs. These groups will stay together with the same Business Coach for the duration of the 6 week Coaching Track. Additionally, we strongly recommend that when you create the groups, you keep managers separate from their direct reports (if possible) to ensure everyone is able to share their thoughts freely in their sessions.
What is HumanQ’s cancellation policy?
HumanQ’s Essential Solutions auto-renews every year. If you would like to cancel you can do so at any time, up until 60 days prior to the new Contract Year. Please note that if you do cancel, the current year is non-refundable.
